What VyomaVeda Collects

VyomaVeda uses personal information to calculate a Vedic birth chart, generate reflective readings, save your archive when you are signed in, and operate the website. We do not sell personal information. We use OpenAI and Meta advertising tools to measure visits and conversions and to optimize ads when analytics is allowed; those tools may use cookies or similar identifiers under their terms and your browser settings.

Account and contact data

Supabase Auth account id, email address, and authentication provider data used for sign-in and account access.

Birth and chart data

First name, birth date, birth time, birth time confidence, city, state or region, country, selected gender, coordinates or derived location data when needed for chart calculation, and computed chart outputs.

Readings, chat, and memory

Generated readings, saved Vyoma Chat transcripts, chat session records, feedback on readings or messages, and broad memory summaries used to continue a conversation without replaying every raw message. Chat history and memory are on by default for signed-in users and can be turned off in Privacy controls.

Product analytics

When analytics is allowed, anonymous and session ids, page path, safe campaign tags, referrer path, timestamps, feature events, OpenAI Ads click references (oppref), Meta click/browser identifiers (_fbc and _fbp), feedback metadata, token/cost telemetry, model status, and reliability diagnostics.

Browser storage

Local and session storage keep necessary auth and chart UI state and short-lived streaming draft text. When analytics is allowed, they also keep anonymous/session ids, first/last seen timestamps, and auth-seen markers. A cookie stores your analytics choice. The app removes the older raw chart payload key after chart casting.

How We Protect Your Data

Your birth details and your conversations are among the most personal things you can share with us. We treat them that way. They are encrypted, so they are never sitting in plain view — not casually browsable, and not readable if our database were ever exposed.

Encrypted at rest

Your birth details and your conversations are encrypted in our database with AES-256. If someone opened the database, they would see scrambled text — not your chart and not your chats. That includes us: we do not browse them.

Decrypted only in the moment

Encrypted data is unlocked briefly, in server memory, only to answer a request you made — then it is gone. It is never stored or displayed in readable form on our side.

Encrypted in transit

All traffic between your device and VyomaVeda travels over HTTPS/TLS. Text sent to model providers to generate a reading or answer a question is sent over encrypted connections as well.

De-identified quality review

We check the quality of chat answers using excerpts with no name or email attached. No one on our team reads your conversations tied to your identity.

What this does and does not mean. Because VyomaVeda has to decrypt your data in memory to calculate your chart and answer your questions, this is not zero-knowledge encryption — in principle we can access data to operate, secure, and debug the service, and to write a reading or reply the necessary text is sent to our AI provider and processed under their terms. What encryption gives you is real and specific: your birth details and conversations are stored as ciphertext, not browsable by us in the ordinary course of running the service, and protected if the underlying database were ever accessed.

How We Use It

  • Create and secure accounts, sign-in links, and Google sign-in.
  • Calculate sidereal Vedic charts and generate chart-based readings, daily readings, PDFs, and Vyoma Chat replies.
  • Save authenticated charts and readings and, by default, save chat history and brief memory summaries for signed-in users. Both controls can be turned off.
  • Measure reliability, cost, product usage, conversion funnels, and quality feedback.
  • Measure OpenAI and Meta ad performance and optimize campaigns using consented visits and verified purchase events.
  • Prevent abuse, debug errors, enforce terms, and maintain service security.

AI And Data Minimization

Readings and chat may be processed by configured language model providers. The backend is designed to send first name, computed chart facts, timing facts, allowed claims, evidence packs, summaries, and relevant recent chat context. It should not send email, account ids, exact birth date, exact birth time, exact birth location, coordinates, or raw chart storage payloads to model prompts unless a user-visible task strictly requires it.

Your active chat message can be sent to the chat model because it is the request you are asking VyomaVeda to answer. Memory extraction may receive bounded chat context, but the saved memory is a broad summary rather than the full transcript or exact questions, and you can turn it off from Settings → Privacy controls.

Processors And Disclosure

VyomaVeda shares information with service providers only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the service. Current processors and paths include:

  • Supabase for authentication, database storage, row-level security, and service-role backend access.
  • Google OAuth when you choose Google sign-in.
  • OpenRouter and configured model providers, including Google Gemini paths where enabled, for readings, active chat replies, memory extraction when enabled, classification, and daily prose.
  • Browser local storage and session storage for the local identifiers and draft state described above.
  • PostHog for product analytics when analytics is allowed.
  • OpenAI Ads Pixel and Events API for ad attribution and conversion measurement when analytics is allowed. Verified Stripe purchase events contain the order amount and currency, product identifier and name, quantity, content type, Stripe Checkout Session ID, source page, and—when present—the OpenAI oppref click reference. VyomaVeda does not send birth data, chat text, email, phone, or payment-card details to OpenAI Ads.
  • Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API for ad attribution, conversion measurement, and campaign optimization when analytics is allowed. Verified payment events use a hashed account id and, when available, Meta's _fbp/_fbc identifiers; VyomaVeda does not send birth data, chat text, email, phone, or payment-card details to Meta.
  • Stripe for subscription and eligible card checkout, and Razorpay or Cashfree for eligible one-time INR payments. Payment-card details are collected by the payment processor, not stored by VyomaVeda.
  • Hosting, logging, and infrastructure providers needed to operate the website and API.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or during a business transfer involving the service.

Retention

Account, chart, reading, feedback, analytics, telemetry, and memory data are kept until they are deleted through account workflows, support workflows, or maintenance cleanup. Raw chat messages are not saved when chat history is turned off; when it is on, saved chats are kept until you delete them. Automatic expiry of saved chats is not currently switched on, so no stored data is removed on a timer today. You can delete chats, memory, a chart, or all of your data yourself at any time from Privacy & data controls, and those deletions take effect immediately. VyomaVeda does not operate an email waitlist in this website flow.

Payment providers retain transaction information under their own policies and legal obligations. VyomaVeda keeps the provider order or subscription id, product purchased, amount, currency, payment status, and fulfilment metadata needed for access, receipts, support, and accounting; it does not store full payment-card numbers.

How We Protect It

Birth details and saved chat messages are encrypted at rest with application-layer AES-256-GCM encryption, in addition to transport encryption (HTTPS) and the database provider's own disk-level protections. The encryption keys are stored outside the database, so access to the database alone does not reveal your birth data or conversations.

Decrypted content is not casually browsable. Limited operator access exists for quality review, safety, abuse prevention, and debugging. No system is perfectly secure; if you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us promptly at the address below.

Your Choices

  • You can request access, export, correction, or deletion of application data associated with your account.
  • Your archive includes Privacy & data controls where you can choose what Vyoma keeps, see what it remembers about you, and delete anything you want removed.
  • Save chat history (toggle): on unless you turn it off. When off, your chat messages are not written to the database at all. When on, they are stored so you can revisit past conversations.
  • Memory (toggle): on by default. Vyoma can remember themes from your conversations with this chart, so it can pick up where you left off. Memory stores brief summaries for continuity — the topics you kept returning to, the tone of the conversation, the chart patterns discussed — separate from your saved chats. Your chats remain in your history until you delete them. You can view, clear, or turn memory off at any time; turning it off stops Vyoma both from writing new summaries and from using the ones already stored.
  • Auto-delete chats after (dropdown): records how long you want saved chats kept (7 days, 30 days, 90 days, 1 year, or keep until you delete). Scheduled auto-deletion is not switched on yet, so this preference is stored but not yet enforced; until it is, saved chats stay until you delete them, and deleting chats yourself works immediately.
  • View what Vyoma remembers: at any time you can open this panel to see the actual notes Vyoma has kept about you. There is nothing about you in memory that you cannot see.
  • Clear what Vyoma remembers: deletes those continuity notes immediately, both from the database and from any local cache. Your charts and saved chats are not affected.
  • Delete chats, delete a chart, or delete all account data: separate destructive controls in the same panel for removing larger swaths of data.
  • Delete my data removes your saved app data but keeps your login account, so you can sign back in. Delete account removes both your app data and your login account permanently.
  • You can clear local browser storage in your browser settings. Signing out also clears the local chart workspace used by the chart page.
  • Analytics choices: visitors in the UK, EU, EEA, or with unknown geography are asked before optional OpenAI Ads, Meta, PostHog, and VyomaVeda product analytics start. You can allow, reject, or change that choice at any time.
  • California residents may have additional rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit sensitive personal information, and avoid discrimination where those laws apply.

For privacy requests that are not covered by archive or settings controls, email contact@vyomavedaastro.com or use the in-product feedback button while signed in. We may need to verify your account before acting on access, export, correction, or deletion requests.

Important Limits

VyomaVeda readings and chat are for reflection and self-understanding. VyomaVeda is not a medical, legal, financial, psychological, emergency, or crisis-support service.
