What VyomaVeda Collects

VyomaVeda uses personal information to calculate a Vedic birth chart, generate reflective readings, save your archive when you are signed in, and operate the website. We do not sell personal information, and this site does not use cross-context behavioral advertising.

Account and contact data

Supabase Auth account id, email address, and authentication provider data used for sign-in and account access.

Birth and chart data

First name, birth date, birth time, birth time confidence, city, state or region, country, selected gender, coordinates or derived location data when needed for chart calculation, and computed chart outputs.

Readings, chat, and memory

Generated readings, optional saved Vyoma Chat transcripts, chat session records, feedback on readings or messages, and optional broad memory summaries used to continue a conversation without replaying every raw message.

Product analytics

Anonymous and session ids, page path, safe campaign tags, referrer path, timestamps, feature events, feedback metadata, token/cost telemetry, model status, and reliability diagnostics.

Browser storage

Local and session storage keep anonymous/session ids, first/last seen timestamps, auth-seen markers, sanitized chart UI state, and short-lived streaming draft text. The app removes the older raw chart payload key after chart casting.

How We Use It

  • Create and secure accounts, sign-in links, and Google sign-in.
  • Calculate sidereal Vedic charts and generate chart-based readings, daily readings, PDFs, and Vyoma Chat replies.
  • Save authenticated charts and readings, and save chat history or memory summaries only when you choose those controls.
  • Measure reliability, cost, product usage, conversion funnels, and quality feedback.
  • Prevent abuse, debug errors, enforce terms, and maintain service security.

AI And Data Minimization

Readings and chat may be processed by configured language model providers. The backend is designed to send first name, computed chart facts, timing facts, allowed claims, evidence packs, summaries, and relevant recent chat context. It should not send email, account ids, exact birth date, exact birth time, exact birth location, coordinates, or raw chart storage payloads to model prompts unless a user-visible task strictly requires it.

Your active chat message can be sent to the chat model because it is the request you are asking VyomaVeda to answer. Memory extraction may receive bounded chat context, but the saved memory is a broad summary rather than the full transcript or exact questions, and you can turn it off from Settings → Privacy controls.

Processors And Disclosure

VyomaVeda shares information with service providers only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the service. Current processors and paths include:

  • Supabase for authentication, database storage, row-level security, and service-role backend access.
  • Google OAuth when you choose Google sign-in.
  • OpenRouter and configured model providers, including Google Gemini paths where enabled, for readings, active chat replies, opt-in memory extraction, classification, and daily prose.
  • Browser local storage and session storage for the local identifiers and draft state described above.
  • Hosting, logging, and infrastructure providers needed to operate the website and API.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or during a business transfer involving the service.

Retention

Account, chart, reading, feedback, analytics, telemetry, and opt-in memory data are kept until they are deleted through account workflows, support workflows, or maintenance cleanup. Raw chat messages are not saved unless chat history is turned on, and saved raw chats default to a 30-day retention window unless you choose a different available retention option. VyomaVeda does not operate an email waitlist in this website flow.

Payment processing is not implemented in the current website code. If payments, subscriptions, Stripe, Razorpay, Gumroad, or another processor are added, this policy should be updated before payment data is collected.

Your Choices

  • You can request access, export, correction, or deletion of application data associated with your account.
  • Your archive includes Privacy & data controls where you can choose what Vyoma keeps, see what it remembers about you, and delete anything you want removed.
  • Save chat history (toggle): off by default. When off, your chat messages are not written to the database at all. When on, they are stored so you can revisit past conversations.
  • Personalization (toggle): off by default. When off, Vyoma does not keep continuity notes. When on, it keeps broad notes about themes, tone, and patterns so it does not start from zero each conversation. These notes are summaries, not full messages or exact questions.
  • Auto-delete chats after (dropdown): when chat history is on, you choose how long saved chats are kept (7 days, 30 days, 90 days, 1 year, or keep until you delete). Saved chats past that period are removed automatically.
  • View what Vyoma remembers: at any time you can open this panel to see the actual notes Vyoma has kept about you. There is nothing about you in memory that you cannot see.
  • Clear what Vyoma remembers: deletes those continuity notes immediately, both from the database and from any local cache. Your charts and saved chats are not affected.
  • Delete chats, delete a chart, or delete all account data: separate destructive controls in the same panel for removing larger swaths of data.
  • Delete my data removes your saved app data but keeps your login account, so you can sign back in. Delete account removes both your app data and your login account permanently.
  • You can clear local browser storage in your browser settings. Signing out also clears the local chart workspace used by the chart page.
  • California residents may have additional rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit sensitive personal information, and avoid discrimination where those laws apply.

For privacy requests that are not covered by archive or settings controls, email [email protected] or use the in-product feedback button while signed in. We may need to verify your account before acting on access, export, correction, or deletion requests.

Important Limits

VyomaVeda readings and chat are for reflection and self-understanding. VyomaVeda is not a medical, legal, financial, psychological, emergency, or crisis-support service.
